.:: TAT2 AFTERCARE ::.

The first few days and weeks (for a new tattoo) are probably the most important for your new tattoo. Make sure you care for it properly. Below is the healing procedure and do’s and don’ts we recommend. Because each individual is different, this may not always be the best recommendation for each person.
Use this space to talk about how you started and share your professional journey. Explain your core values, your commitment to the workplace, and how you stand out from the crowd. Add a photo, gallery, or video for even more engagement.

2ndSkin Method (Quality Method)

1: Patience
It's worth the wait.

2: Ink Sack
No worries, its all GOOD.

Leave the bandage that you received after the tattoo on for 3 to 5 days. You can choose to leave it on for up to a week for a better-quality tattoo.

Tattoos will ooze some blood/ plasma, this is a NORMAL part of the healing process. Don't allow that nasty fluid to freak you out. The bandage is there to keep airborne bacteria and any other contaminants in the environment from entering & and invading your fresh new tattoo. It protects your tattoo, helping to prevent dirt, pet fur, dirty baby hands & and any other germs from infecting your tattoo or causing any other skin related diseases/ injuries.

Tattoo JoJo loves the quality outcome of her tattoos & believes the 2ndSkin/ Saniderm/ Derm-shield Method is the best way to go & will always invest & choose this method of healing all of her tattoos (unless the client chooses to go the old traditional way).

3: Cleansing
Don't leave the sticky-icky.

4: Air Time
Let your tattoo breathe.

5: Moisturize
Tattoos love to feel good 2 ;)

6. Be Gentle
Rub Aggressively < Pat Gently

After removing the bandage, cleanse the tattooed area with soap and water. Do not scrub the tattoo with a brush or towel (this should not be done until the tattoo has healed). The idea behind the washing is to eliminate any dead cells have been allowed to accumulate on the surface.

Dry the tattooed area by gently patting the area with a clean, sterile towel. Let the tattoo dry completely (approximately 10 minutes).

Apply unscented lotion in a thin layer a few times daily
